The intense heat of the Grill or BBQ makes for crispy skin and mouth-watering flavours.

  • Season or marinate your chicken.
  • Cook over medium-high heat, turning only once midway through cooking.
  • Cook 6 to 8 minutes per side, or until no longer pink.
  • Baste occasionally with reserved marinade during the last 5 minutes.
  • If using a BBQ, grill chicken on a double layer of lightly oiled foil with the cover down.
  • Cook until the internal temperature registers 74° C (165° F)

Grilled chicken thighs are our favourite, but you can grill any cut of chicken you like.

To make sure your chicken is cooked through, look for an internal temperature reading of 82° C for a whole chicken and 74° C for ground poultry, chicken pieces & cuts.
